Departure Day for Camp

Yep, it's finally arrived....pretty excited...hopefully all the training is going to make my Charcot Marie Tooth Disease charity event a big success in the search for a cure. By the way, when you're 50, you have to train a bit harder and longer then back in the day.... Just giving some of you youngsters a tip...:) Have my baseball bag almost packed....

Two beautiful maple bats ready with tap and tar on the handles with at least ten hits in them.
Giants baseball uniform, home and away.
Two baseball gloves, infield and ourfielder
Cup...just for the pain part, not having any more kids
Cleats, for my blazing speed
Red Man Chewing Tobacco, my unofficial sponsor
Sliding shorts...hope I don't have a reason to use them.

Finally, most importantly in my bag, the great wishes and support of so many kind and generous people. It's truly shocked and emotionally wowed me to see and feel such kindness. I think; Why did they do that? Why the generosity? Why the very touching and kind words? It brings tears to this old boy's eyes....

Thanks to everyone....xo Vasi
